6 Ways to Dress Up This Halloween Without Looking like a Dick

It's that time of year again, all the shops are filling their windows with tacky Halloween merchandise and you've probably got a few invites to the dreaded ' Halloween Themed Costume Party'. The question is: how to you dress up and still retain some dignity? Well here's how to do just that.


 1. Thomas Shelby - Peaky Blinders

What you'll need:

  • Newsboy Cap 
  • Three piece suit 
  • Long length over coat

Optional - Constant string of cigarettes, razor blades in your caps peak (we're all for authenticity but the razor blades may be a little too far)   


2. Travis Bickle - Taxi Driver

 What you'll need:

  • M-65 Military Jacket  
  • Aviator sunglasses

 Optional - Dodgy Mohawk (for those that want to go the extra mile)


3. Frank William Abagnale Jr. - Catch Me If You Can

  • Pilots outfit and hat
  • Aviator Sunglasses 
  • Pan Am wings (if you want to look really authentic)

Optional - Bevy of beautiful stewardesses to walk in with

  • Floral print short sleeve shirt 
  • White unbranded bucket hat 
  • Ray-Ban RB 3138 Shooter Aviator sunglasses - Yellow lenses (yes we found you the exact model)

Optional - Permanent filter cigarette holder, suitcase full of well organised narcotics


5. Jimi Hendrix

What you'll need:

  • Vintage military jacket  
  • A silk scarf
  • Lots of rings
  • Skinny jeans 
  • Chelsea boots

Optional - Afro (well we say 'optional' but would you really be Jimi with out the 'fro), Fender Strat


6. Tyler Durden - Fight Club

  • Colourful print t-shirt 
  • A few statement rings 

Optional - Cuts and bruises from your most recent fight, bar of home made soap.
